You can set up custom spend alerts for individual merchants or categories.
For example, you could ask Snoop to let you know if you’ve spent over £100 on eating out during your monthly pay cycle or to alert you if you spend over £20 at Starbucks in a week.
To set an alert up, all you need to do is tap on a transaction, tap 'Set up spending alert', then choose if you want to set up the alert for either the merchant or the category'. This can also be done by tapping on the 'Spending' tab from the bottom nav bar, choosing either a category from the 'Categories' tab or merchant from the 'Merchants' tab and selecting 'Set up spending alert'.
Alternatively, you can tap the bell icon on the home screen, tap 'Create or edit a custom highlight', then 'Set up spending alert'.
You can then choose whether you’d like an alert every time you spend on that category/merchant, whenever you make a transaction over a certain amount, whenever your total spend on that category/merchant goes over a certain amount in a certain time period, or when you make a certain number of spends at a merchant/ on a category in a certain time period - or within your pay cycle.
On the basic version of Snoop, you can only set up one of these at a time. With Snoop Plus, you can set up as many as you'd like!
Snoop Plus is available for £4.99/month or £39.99/year.
